GEOG. WAS VILE
F R I D A Y, 2 3 J U N E
Worked solidly 8.30am to 12.30 and got everything done. But Geog. was so ghastly and the world questions were so vile, I’ve worked out I’ve got about 50%. That’s an E - absolutely weedy. For Europe all I ever needed to have revised were Norway, Switzerland the Ruhr.
It was pouring when we left school and I didn't have a mack or anything so Lucy's ma gave me a lift to the office. Didn’t do any revision in the evening but what I’m so worried about is German. I just passed with an O for Mock, I just don’t know what to do, and I’ve got absolutely no time to do revision in. I so want to do well in German. If I could get a D, which is 55% to 59%, I’d be thrilled.
Anya rang me up and we chatted for nearly an hour. Poor thing had such a terrible Chemistry exam today, they asked questions about things they’d never, ever done. She said if there was such a thing as an ‘I’ she’d get it! She’s mad over her Polnareff LP.
Am listening to the 'Rose de France' on the radio, which Polnareff won last year (the Prix de la Critique) with 'Love Me, Please Love Me'. Apparently there are juries in all the main towns of France.
Mummy bought Chump and me two lovely P.V.C. cases for our sun-glasses today. I'm going to get Anya one for her (very) late birthday present.
