THE CHRISTMAS TREE

Chump and me decorated the tree.

After lunch I went up to my room and I burst into tears. I’m so miserable. I haven’t got a boyfriend or a real friend in the world, I’m just too hard to please.

Roly, Erika, Clare, Lulu and Richard came for tea - the children are adorable. You’d think the girls would get aggressive with Richard he’s so rowdy, but they’re perfectly sweet. Richard really is gorgeous, I’ve never seen anybody so full of life, he had several fights with me on the floor! I do wish we had a little brother.

In the evening I got down to copying out my childhood essay for Grandma. I’m doing it in black ink on green and mauve paper.
