MISS BLUE JEANS

MISS BLUE JEANS

Wore my Lapland top with my yellow bell-bottoms. Felt quite a hippy.

Listened to Rosko and all of Mini Max – ‘Miss Blue Jeans’ is No. 3. It’s not really like the playback we heard at the studios, because they’ve cut the ‘boum’ bit out, but it’s still lovely! I wish I could write music like he does. Fancy having thousands of tunes in your head just bursting to be written down.

Suddenly out of the blue Mummy said, “it’s a pity you break up so late or you could have done a Christmas job – Mark is working at the Post Office.” So Mark was at the party on Friday!!! She said he said he has to go to bed early on Fridays - to get up for the Post Office at six!!! I’m so glad he was there, because Ma and Pa will have mentioned me somewhere - and I know they talked about the Sixth Form Unit. The more I think about it, the more I think he would be the most perfect boyfriend for me. He’d have to be keen on Caroline-ish music, especially soul, but I’m sure he is.

Washed my hair. Took a lot of trouble over it and it’s turned out fab.

Ma, Chump and me went round to see Mrs Reid. She’s in bed again. I feel so sorry for her. She didn’t seem her same cheerful self.

I so want to see Mark again. I’m bound to one day. It probably won't be for years.
