STILL LOVING ADAMO

Had a foul taste in my mouth all day. Did a pleasing amount of work. Daddy began on the first final drawing for the Amsterdam competition.

After lunch I went down to the Bog Garden on my own and thought a lot about Dutronc. Discussed him with Chump. She's still convinced he was shy. Once he came into the dining room, said "good morning" to her, Susie and Bill, then whizzed to his table and started gobbling down his breakfast to hide his embarrassment (so she says!). I'm sure she must be exaggerating. He can't have been that shy.

Listened to an Adamo concert on Radio Luxembourg - not half as good as at Olympia because the orchestra was so weedy. 'Tenez Vous Bien' and ‘On n’a Plus le Droit’ are my favourites.

I wonder if Anya and Lucy enjoyed themselves last night. I expect they did. This means a miserable day on Monday.
