WHY IS PICASSO A GENIUS?

I can't believe it's a whole fortnight ago we went to the Goldmans and I was chatting next to Mark - it seems more like a week. What reminded me is that Pa's on the phone with Sydney right now, discussing the  big house and the garden next door. Daddy has designed the most fab scheme for it – if we buy it. He’d knock down The Grange and build six houses instead, and fit in a swimming pool for US, with a pavilion at one end and a moat around it!!!

I read a bit about Picasso - why does everybody hail him as a genius? I’m sure he is, but I wish someone would explain his paintings.
